The sad truth for me.........

I put this here as an explanation to those who may care and if ya don't well I don't really give a shit. My life hasn't been easy recently with my luck being well unlucky. Several problems with my car, getting a job for my car to break down on the first day, and that making the result of me not getting the job. That is just an example of things among many emotional things weighing in on my mind. I have three brothers and one sister; Christopher, Micheal, Jason, and Karrie. Recently my the youngest of my brothers(Christopher) passed away at the age of 21. Death is hard on all of us, but when you are there to witness the cause of it you just don't know how to react. My brother hung himself with a military belt from his banister after a small argument with my mom. I find it so weird because he has experienced so much more difficult times before and never resorted to anything of this measure. I can't say it was the argument that caused it as I think it was a multitude of things the gathered together were just to overwhelming to bare. What I did do was rush upstairs on June 26th after hearing my mom scream for me. I found my brother hanging by his neck and as I write this now my eyes fill with tears as they did when I first seen him, but I put my feelings aside to lift him up to relieve the pressure from his neck; after this was done I rushed down stairs to get my knife to be able to cut the belt away from his neck. I successfully did that and proceeded to give my brother Christopher CPR. I can't even describe how his body looked due to the frenzy I was in trying to save his life. The ambulance was called by my mom and he was rushed to the nearest hospital. During the time the ambulance were driving to my house, working on him, and then rushing him to the hospital I was trying to get a hold of my sister. I sat in a corner crying while no body could be reached and kept trying regardless of the outcome till my sister showed up. By that time Christopher was already admitted to the Hospital, but needed my sister to be there with me. The paramedics managed to get a pulse from Chris and after 3-4 hours at the Unite Health Hospital they got a unit to move him to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. Everyone of us went up to Ruby following the ambulance as good as we could and that was were we last seen our brother Chris. After 12-14 hours in the hospital they were able to legally declare a time of death at 12:57PM Friday, June 27th. This is something one never truly gets over it, but in times like this it is necessary to be strong for your family.

R.I.P Christopher Lee Ledsome

Thanks to Jason Postalweight, Dean Styer, Clint Dean, D.J. Higgins, and everyone else were at our house after the event and during the time he was hospitalized..........

Him and I were really close as brothers and shared a shit load of similarities. One of those similarities was the demons in which we both struggled with every day having a feeling of certainty that no matter how good things appear that we will end up still in this state with those demons. The demons we struggled with may not be the same, but they were there none the less and sometimes you can deal with them; other times it is just to much. The power to find the light in this world overshadowed by darkness is hard, but if you have the will the light will shine through the shroud of darkness that exist on this world.

Christopher had a son, my nephew and I will help and do my best to make this child shine through the darkness and flourish into the light.

The proceedings will be happening within the next week so pls contact us or leave a comment on this page if you want us to get a hold of you to give you directions and time. video

RPG INCOMING DUCK FOR COVER!

This fall is going to be one great season for RPG's on the xbox 360 with Fable, Fallout 3, Last Remnant, Tales of Vesperia, and Infinite Undiscovery.

I just recently seen three trailers though for three different games, and those are the trailers I'm going to post.

The name Infinite Undiscover is quite interesting, and I found an old quote from IGN which attempts to explain it

"So what exactly does the title mean? As it turns out, the game is all about making discoveries. Things that haven't been revealed yet are undiscovered, get it? Some of these are major while others are less important, but we were told that they would have an impact on other things in the game and can carry a ripple effect out that changes the course of the game. An example we were given was the discovery of a dragon. What you choose to do, be it fight, run or hide, will have an impact on the rest of the game. Run away and the dragon might permanently damage a wall which can, in turn, lead to something else happening down the road."

I wanted to find something like the above description because I remember hearing about how the world is suppose to be dynamic and ever changing. Time will tell I guess, but I want to hear more about it! Anyways here is a clip from the game!

Square Enix is releasing their first Multi-platform game and that game is none other then Last Remnant. I don't know to much about this game as I haven't been into Square Enix's games over the last few years, but the trailer for this game makes it look promising.

The last game is Tales of Vesperia and probably going to be my favorite of the three. I am a huge Tales fan and the only other RPG series for me that is better is the Suikoden series. Below is a gorgeous trailer for the game!

THE RE-UP

A long time ago I posted a video I made called retarded skydivers. The video is my friend and I in World of Warcraft doing devious things when we get bored. Anyways I am re-posting it now because I am making a second one now that I get a better PC!

Problems with streaming

Well I usually use my gametrailers account for streaming all of my videos in my post, but for some strange reason all of the streams from game trailers just hang as soon as you try to start them. So I will be looking for a new website to upload to and stream from, and whenever I find it I will re-upload all the older videos.

UPDATE

Ok so now the videos are working again with the removal of the Call of Duty video in my CoD4 vs Halo 3 post. Not sure what is going on so I am going to look for another place regardless.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare VS HALO 3

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare VS HALO 3

After reading the editorial on Ubergames about CoD4 VS Halo 3 multiplayer I decided to make my own post about these two particular games and their online component. I can’t argue with Call of Duty 4 having a better single player campaign, but on the multiplayer aspect is a different story. I actually had more fun playing Halo 3’s campaign co-op with four friends, but I can not deny Call of Duty 4’s amazing cinematic experience in its single player campaign. I don’t think I would have enjoyed Halo 3’s single player anywhere near CoD4 though without the company of friends. However, we all know people don’t keep pouring countless hours in to these two beasts of FPS’s for the single player content.

On the editorial post on Ubergames there was two videos posted which were montages of each game so I will also post two montages. There is one for Halo 3 and one for CoD4.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

Halo 3

One of the things I absolutely love about these two games is their matchmaking. The matchmaking in both of these games is great as they both let you get into a party with your friends and then a game is automatically found for you. Finding rooms in games such as Rainbow Six Vegas and Gears of War (ranked) can be rather hard sometimes.

One of the things that frustrates me the most is in CoD4 when you try to find a game with a party random party members will be not find the game with your and you will have to back out and attempt to do it again. I am not sure what causes this, but it certainly hinders the online experience when it takes about 6-8 minutes just to get everyone in the same game; For the most part though CoD4 runs pretty damn smooth online.
I find it interesting how the author compares Halo 3 to Unreal Tournament and Call of Duty 4 to counter strike. Halo 3 is certainly not a modern day version of Unreal Tournament at all. I probably wouldn’t play it if that were true. You know what a modern day version of Unreal is? Unreal Tournament 3 is exactly that. I can’t say much about Counter Strike as I haven’t really gotten into it, but I see no justification in calling CoD4 like Counter Strike in the post given my time with the Xbox title.

One of the things I like most about Halo 3 is its pure randomnosity. This is a problem I have with both CoD4 and Gears of War. For the most part I run into the same things in matches, choke points are being held down and there is a sniper usually in the areas that suit them well every game. This creates an amount of repetitiveness for my self.

For the most part I tend to think Halo 3 requires much more skill and team work in the 48+ upwards bracket then your usual game of CoD4. There are some definite situations in CoD4 where teamwork can become a problem if the other team is lacking, but the majority of the time I have spent playing it usually is not. One instance my friend and I held down two different positions on the map Wet Works and didn’t let any one through. The result of that was a lead of about 500 points.

I could nit pick for a lot longer then I am going to, but I don't think one conclusion can come out of this CoD4 vs HALO business. They're two different games, some will like both and others will detest one while loving the other. Personally for me I find Halo 3 to be more enjoyable for several reasons 1) It is my 360 game of choice to play competitively 2) There are a lot more situations that are fun and unique in Halo 3 then there is in CoD4 3) I personally believe the network code is a lot more stable in Halo then it is in CoD4.

A new demo was "bourne"! UPDATE

A few hours after waking up today I decided to go and hop on Xbox Live to see if any of my friends were online and ended up checking the marketplace for new content that has been put out. To my surprise I find that Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy Demo was up on the marketplace for download. I was pretty sure that I saw a date of May 19th or 20th for the release of the demo which is why I was surprised to see the demo available already. Once the download is finished I will give the demo a run for its money and come back and post some impressions. It is a 1.2 gig download, so start that beast up, and kill some time.

UPDATE

This demo has three chapters of which you can choose to play at three difficulty levels as well. Trainee, Agent, and Assassin. Well I haven't fully got a chance to sit down without rushing through them, but from just playing through the the first two missions it feels somewhat like an authentic experience, but I can't help and feel disconnected from the overall feel of the movies. I'll post back later with me detailed impressions

Age of Conan PvP weekend!

Photobucket

So the fruits of Funcom's labor is finally coming to fruition with the release of its new MMORPG Age of Conan nearing its release in about one month. Age of Conan has been in closed beta for quite a while and you can find out a good amount of information from those NDA leakers, but AoC will be entering open beta on May 2nd so better just get a taste for yourself.

As the name of the title suggest this is about this weekend full of Age of Conan PvP goodness, and I was lucky enough to get into the 15,000 people being accepting into the beta. Funcom is teaming up with Gamespot to let 15,000 people into a small portion of Age of Conan this weekend and that is the PvP portion. You will be allowed to choose between 12 different classes and they will automatically be bumped up to level 20 so that you can get right into the fun. While I am pretty ecstatic to get started I kind of wish the level cap would have been a little higher because there is 80 levels in the game so it seems the taste of the PvP this weekend you get will be just that a taste to tempt you to purchase this game! Then again there is the open beta soon eh?

Ill post back later with impressions once I have some serious hands on time.....
